Gerald Green defeats Nate Robinson in finals

Gerald Green defeats Nate Robinson in finals
Finally it was a great competition. But the judges were so tough that we had to wait for

the last dunk of the all contest to have a perfect 50.

Gerald Green wows the crowd and the judges since the beginning with a 48 on his 1st

dunk. His imitation of Dee Brown old school blind dunk gave him a 47.

Nate Robinson joigned him for the final round but he didn't make a dunk as impressive as

he did last year or on in 1st dunk in this competition.

Gerald Green captured his dunking nigh with a windmill over a table. The judges gave him

a 50, the 1st in the whole contest.

Dwight Howard had a funny & impressive dunk in the 1st round, dunking the ball in one

hand while putting a sicker at the top of the backboard. But he only was rewarded by a

42.

Jordan was the tougher judge while Kobe being the smoother one!

Kobe reached skills competition finals, but loses to D-Wayde

Kobe reached skills competition finals, but loses to D-Wayde
Kobe surprised most of all by reaching the finals with the best 1st round time.

Many people think the competition was not really for him, and when he almost lost the

ball while dribbling in the opening seconds of his round, it appeared they were right.

But Kobe made each of his passes in the 1st try, so he did for the shot, and finished with

29,8 sec, the best time of the first round.

First round: Kobe (29,8sec), D-Wayde (31,3), Lebron (35,4) & Chris Paul (39,6).

But in the finals, D-Wayde made a great run, posting a final round time of 26,4sec. Then

Kobe struggled to made the 1st pass, accomplishing the feat on his 5th try. He finished

with a time of 45,8sec.

On his way to Las Vegas

On his way to Las Vegas
Kobe will participate to his ninth all star game this week end. He'll have a busy schedule, starting on Saturday night with the skills competition.

He'll compete vs D-Wayde, Lebron & Chris Paul. He won't be a part of the shooting star competition like he dis last year. Smush will be along with Michael Cooper to defend Los Angeles this time.

Kobe is going to be one of the great judges for the slam dunk contest. He'll sit next to Jordan, Dr J, Dominique Wilkins & Vince Carter.

KB24 will end his wee end on Sunday evening, playing in the all star game. He'll start for the 9th time of his illustrious career and try to avoid a 3rd straight West loss.

Kobe scored an all star career low 8pts last year on 4/11 shooting (0/5 from three), but dishing out a game best 8asts. We hope he'll get his revenge this time. According to more than 250 000 nba.com voters, he'll score the most points on Sunday night.

We'll see and hope he will be more in scoring mode than in last year game. And if that happened, watch out.... "MVP" "MVP" "MVP".
