L.A wins consecutives road games at Golden State & Utah
L.A won again at Oakland and for once in a while, somebody else than Kobe stepped up.
M.Evans scored 11 of his career high 26pts in a decisive 2nd quarter en rout to a 102-85 victory over the Warriors.

L.A took a 20pt lead in the 2nd quarter and managed to keep that momentum until the end. Kobe also scored 26pts with 6 rbds & 6asts in L.A 2nd straight victory, giving the Lakers fans who came to watch the game something to cheer.

Regarding "MVP" chants from Lakers fans, Kobe said: "It always feels good to hear MVP chants here in Oakland". This is always a place where we have had a great deal of Laker fans. It's a wonderful feeling."

After a season worst 6game loosing streak, the highest of P.Jackson coaching career, L.A get back on track, winning his 3rd straight game.

Kobe battled the flu throughout the game but still managed to get 35pts as L.A won in Utah 102-94.

Out of rythm at moment, Kobe found a way to help his team while being in a confortable place. He made 21 of 24 free throws but was able to jump for a tip jam at the end of the game though.

Odom just missed a triple double with 19pts 14rbds & 9ast; Smush added 24 for L.A, now 33-25. "We're starting to find some consistency in our offense and getting other people involved" Lakers coach Phil Jackson said.

Hope the good streak will continue for L.A, which gonna face Sacramento at Staples for the next game.

Portland beat L.A but Kobe gets his revenge vs rivals Celtics

Portland beat L.A but Kobe gets his revenge vs rivals Celtics
After a 112-108 loss vs the Blazers just after the all star break, L.A was in deep troubles, falling for the 6 straight time and the 12th in the last 16 games. Kobe recorded 25pts 8rbds & 6asts but shot just 8/22 from the field.

But the reigning all star MVP let his frustration comes out vs Boston, playoing agressively in the opening quarter. Kobe shot 9/13 for 22pts in the opening 12minutes, including 4 of 5 behind the arc.

Kobe finished with 38pts & 9asts in 31minutes as L.A swept the season series vs the Celtics with a convincing 122-96 victory.

Kobe said: "In the NBA, you have to be ready to play every night because any team can beat you on any given night. It's good to get a win. To get back on the right track, you've got to start somewhere."

KB added: "I did my part during the first quarter, but it doesn't matter if I have a 22-point quarter or a 30-point quarter. If we're not stopping anybody, it's not going to do anything".

MVP Kobe shines and gets cheers in Las Vegas

MVP Kobe shines and gets cheers in Las Vegas
Everybody who love Kobe were hoping for it. Kobe managed to give us something to be pleased.
In a game which feature the best players in the league, Kobe showed all of them who was the greatest.

His 1st basket vs Shaq & his early reverse dunk set the tone for his team and gave us a
little preview of what it was going to happen next. Kobe finished the 1st half with a team
high 17pts, but was more focused od giving great dishes to his teammates in the 3rd
quarter.

Amare Stoudemire scored 12pts in this quarter and the two came back to action with
about 7minutes remaining in the game. Who was going to win the MVP award?

Kobe drilled 2 three pointers, made a baseline dunk, and his defensive intensity showed
the journalists there was nobdy else who could steal his trophee.

He made the things even more clear when he threw down a tenderous one handed
reverse jam with 30sec to go. On the next possession, he dribbled slowly with "MVP"
and "Kobe" chants from the Las Vegas crowd.

Last time back in Phily, he was booed in front of his hometown crowd. Last night, in a
non NBA city, he got nothing but cheers and love from the crowd as he earned the MVP
honors for the 2nd time in his career.

"Kobe, regardless of how people feel about him, he's always going to be the fan favorite,"
Carmelo Anthony said. "He played great tonight. He deserved it."

Kobe gets MVP award in West rout

Kobe gets MVP award in West rout
Too much West coast last night. The game was decided early but still, we had a great show, especially from the West players, and much more from Kobe.

KB24 scored a game high 31pts to earn MVP honors as the West beat the East 153-132.
The Lakers superstar added 6asts 6steals & 5rbds. He moved to the 3rd place in all time all star list for steals.

The Western conference almost scored 40pts in each of the first three quarters, leading by as many as 31pts entering the final 12minutes. The all star record for most points is 155 set by the West team in Atlanta in a double overtime game. This year, the players fell one basket short and without extra time. Thus they set all star record with 69 field goals made and 52 assists.

The West team quickly built a big lead, and unlike last year, kept playing with the same intensity until the end.

Stoudemire scored 29pts, his Phoenix teammates Marion added 18 and all star reserve Carmelo Anthony finished the game with 20pts. Frenchy Tony Parker had a great game with 8pts and 10asts.

The two best players from the East team were Lebron (28pts) & Howard (20). Nobody else scored more than 12pts for the team, which shot less than 49% (less than 55% for the West).

The game featured many dunks and highlights reel plays - several of those came from Kobe, who captured his 2nd career all star MVP.
