Before Kobe's historic run (53,6pts in 5 games - all wins), L.A was on a 7 game loosing streak. But since Kobe heroics, L.A is on the brink of being out of the playoffs, dropping 8 of his last 10.

First, the Lakers lost at Denver 115-111, a team which is now 1½ games ahead of L.A.
Kobe scored 23pts & dishing out 10 assists, but missing 21 of his 30 shots, including a potential
game tying three pointer in the closing seconds.
The Lakers lost to Denver for the 3rd time this season, and haven't beaten a team with a winning record since defeating Utah on Feb. 26. Phil Jackson has never lose that much as a coach.

A 17pts lead midway the 3rd quarter. Then Kobe reached the 50pt mark after 3minutes of play in the 4th. So we got the W, right? Well no! L.A blew his big lead & Kobe remained scoreless the last 8 minutes as playoffs hopes are now in big jeopardy.
Magette scored a career high 39pts to help the Clippers getting a 118-110 victory over the Lakers.
After a tough night vs Denver, Kobe was spectacular, making all of his 15 free throws & added 9rbds. Smush finished with 19pts & Evans added 11 for L.A, now in quest for must needed wins.

After winning the season opener vs Phoenix, L.A has dropped his 3rd straight game vs Pacific rivals. Kobe posted only 17pts & shot 7 of 26 for L.A which lost 93-85 vs potential 1st round opponents.

KB played great basket ball last night, making tough shots vs Bell defense, trusting his teammates enough to be down by 1 after three quarters.
But Phoenix hot shooting exploded for 41pts in the final 12minutes as L.A was enable to keep that pace, falling 115-107 vs the Suns.

Kobe scored 34pts & added 7 assists for L.A, which fell to the 7th seed behind Denver - a team they're gonna face on Monday.

Raja Bell was perfect behind the arc, drilling his 6 three point shots attempts. Having the difficult task to guard Kobe, Bell said: "He's not the best scorer in the league for no reason,. The only thing I can hope to be is a thorn in his side."

After a tumultuous relation in the past, especially in the playoffs last year, Bell & Kobe seemed have bury all the tensions. Kobe said: "Raja plays hard. I think he's a good defensive player. He tries to deny the ball in certain areas. I enjoy going against him."
Known for his tough defense, Bell smiled at Kobe on his 1st shot, when Mamba made a tough jumper over him.

L.A outrebounded the Suns 51-40 but they committed 17 turnovers to Phoenix 10.

Odom had a double double with 10pts & 14rbds; so did Ronny who played one of his best games, with 19pts & a career high 15rbds. He almost did all of his damages in the 2nd half, recording 19pts & 11rbds.

After critisizing the fact he was benched during last game 4th quarter, Smush reacted well as he posted 25pts & 6asts.

Once again, L.A needed a high scoring game from KB to stop the bleeding. After 2 criticals losses vs Denver & the Clippers, L.A kept itself ahead of Denver in the battle for the sixth seed in the Western Conference.

Kobe scored 31 of his 46 in the 2nd half as L.A beat Seattle 112-109. His tough jumper over two defenders with 1:41 left gave the Lakers the lead for good.

But despite his big night, KB got help from his teammates to close out the game. He said:
"The second half I had to come out and jump-start us a little bit, but the bench came through for us there in the fourth quarter and gave us a huge lift. And that's what we need, a team effort."

Odom recorded 20pts on 9/11 shooting & Turiaf continued his recent strong play, posting 10pts 4rbds & 4blks in 25min. Cook drilled 3 three pointers as he scored 11pts.

L.A outscored the Sonics 63-52 in the 2nd half, after dropping the 2nd quarter 29-18.

L.A is going to face some big challenges this week as they'll play division leader Phoenix & Denver & the Clippers.

Kobe will always do what he had to do to get the W. Averaging 53pts in five games or dishing out a season best 13 assists. Being unselfish like yesterday and playing that way with his teammates, it seemed for Kobe to be even more enjoyable.

KB said: "I Like seeing my teammates being in a rhythm. I like seeing their confidence. I like seeing them smile. Tonight was a big game for them to try to get their confidence back and their swagger back a little bit.''


Kobe scored 19pts, leadind 6 players in double figures as L.A beat Sacramento 126 - 103.

Sacramento said: "Kobe can have 20 assists and he can make 20 field goals.Whatever he needs to get done to get a win, he usually does it. He's just a smart player."

Maurice Evans scored 21 points, Walton had 18, Bynum 14, Smush Parker 13, and Brown 10. Ronny continued his recent strong play with 8pts 3rbds & 3blks in 14minutes.

Leading just by 6 entering the final period, L.A used a big 4th to rout the Kings 39-22. L.A numbers as a team were simply great. They shot a season high 61,7% from the field, behind Bynum-Evans-Kwame who combined for a blistering 18 of 19 shooting.

The Lakers 34 assists were one of their best score this season and we hope they will be able to play again this way Tuesday night vs Denver.

Five minutes to play-Houston by 12...then here comes Kobe. More than four minutes later, Kobe has tied the game (11sec left) on an amazing shot- once again. But then, KB commited 2 crucials fouls late in overtime and Houston was able to get the victory.

Kobe transformed what it appeared to be a tough loss to a potential wild winning one, scoring 25pts in the 4th & OT. Still Houston handed L.A their 9th loss of the month with a 107-104 decision.

Down 88-76 with about 4minutes to play, Kobe (1 of 11 shooting in the 2nd half until then), exploded for 17 - capturing his outburst with the game tying 3 while falling out of the court.

L.A appeared to have te momentum, with a 3pt lead in the last minute. But Kobe commited a foul on T.Mac behind the 3pt line, then travelled and Houston was able to pull off the victory.

Kobe finished the game scoring 25 of the Lakers final 28pts, and craking the 50pt plateau for the 5th time in 7 games. But L.A superstar shot only 19 of 44 from the field including 3 of 9 behind the three point line.

Still, KB finished the month with an average of 40.3pts - the 4th time in his career. He and Chamberlain are the only players to record multi 40pt months.

Odom continued to play well with 16pts & 17rbds. Ronny also kept his recent efficient pace, adding 6pts 6rbds & 4blks.

With a 5-9 record in March, the struggling Lakers have to win next game vs the Kings. And we can expect a great performance from the team. Wait and see. The clash is scheduled fro Sunday night.
