Kobe & Lamar

Kobe & Lamar
This has to be the best duo in the league.

Odom struggled in 1st half of last season to understand the offense and the system, but after the all star break, he put all star numbers and was the leading man alongside Kobe in playoffs.

If Odom plays all year like he did at the end of the season, he will be at Las vegas in Februarym wearing the West uniform.
However, Odom is having a tough time because of the lately death of his infant son. Maybe like Kobe in 2004 following the rape accusation in Colorado, playing basketball will be like a therapy for him.

Kobe's knee hurt him all year long last season but though he put the highest scoring average in 19 years.
While he's still recovering from this summer surgical operation, Kobe seems to be ready to have another MVP type season.
I don't expected him to score 35+ a game, specially when I saw he played smarter during the playoffs, delivering more assists while taking 10 less shots per game.

Wait and see. The 1st game of preseason is scheduled tomorrow night, and the opening season is on October 31st...vs Phoenix.

Phil & Kobe

Phil & Kobe
Phil Jackson came back last year and the team made a 11 game improvement from 2004-05 season and almost eliminate the number 2 seed Phoenix in which would have been of one of the greatest upset in history...
Unfortunatly for us, we were one rebound and 6 sec away

This year, the aim of the season is to improve more and to go further in the playoffs.

After a bustling relationship during a 5 year run, Kobe & Phil were able to put the stuff between them and their relationship has been great all year long.
According to Kobe, it grew up tremendously and the 2 are going to be on the same page again to carry L.A as far as possible.

Kobe has never been better than when he played for Jackson and he sees him like a mentor more than ever.

So no more drama in L.A and this year promises to be great... I hope so.
